The DP blamed the Head of State for “crushing his own big 4 agenda” through the handshake with Raila Odinga
President Uhuru Kenyatta is facing his toughest hurdles yet as he navigates the final 180 days in office. The President enters his twilight few months in office, virtually a “lame duck” whose directives are falling on deaf ears as ministers quit the cabinet to vie for positions in the August elections.
And his Deputy William Ruto claims there was no “Uhuru legacy” worth talking about since Raila Odinga became de-facto “deputy president” through the handshake! But ODM’s rabble-rouser Junet Mohamed took him head-on saying DP Ruto was part and parcel of the government drawing monthly wages and allowances with no work.
The DP blamed the Head of State for “crushing his own big 4 agenda” through the handshake with Raila Odinga of Azmio la Umoja. Ruto says all was well until Mr Odinga entered the fray claiming they delivered in their first term in office 2013-2017 but things went haywire after Raila came in. ` But a furious Kenyatta told off Ruto for “running around making noise” and never working to justify the salaries taxpayers have paid him for the last ten years. The President insists he has delivered even with the “handshake” rolling out projects in a stable and peaceful country, unlike pre-2018 divisive politics
