When Covid -19 forced many hotels to shut their doors in 2020, The Mercury hotel management made good use of the time and made some extensive refurbishments on their facility, they turned it into a 4-star hotel and restaurant making it a major choice of destination in Nairobi’s CBD.
The facility has since expanded into an open-air balcony with spacious and comfortable surroundings playing Live Sports betting, making it a one-stop attraction for all ages. They serving sizzling, delicious roasted beef, kienyeji chicken and fresh fish, the hotel has fast become an entertainment spot playing the music of all ages often hosting live shows.
Mercury hotel director Mr Julius Gitau told The Weekly Vision online that there were plans for 24-hour entertainment once the situation is back to normal from Covid -19 restrictions
The hotel has one of the most unique music disc mixes that is wholly computerized and digitally controlled which patrons from a cross-section of different ages find most appealing. Its rooms are a complete feat of pure luxury and comfort! The well-carpeted rooms with double bed mattresses have DSTV large screens and room service available at the touch of a button!
Mercury hotel director Mr Julius Gitau told The Weekly Vision online that there were plans for 24-hour entertainment once the situation is back to normal from Covid -19 restrictions, adding that live music was also an option for the near future.
Gitau lamented that Covid -19 lockdown had adversely affected business and they were still trying to cope under tight restrictions saying he hopes the situation improves soon. Mercury has both bar and restaurant with the latter also having been completely transformed to ‘keep up with the competition.”
