Susan Kihika advised the president to stop “spinning one yarn after another” in a bid to block his deputy William Ruto from succeeding him
Nakuru County Senator Susan Kihika has boldly told off President Uhuru Kenyatta over the impeachment claims.
The Head of State made the claims recently to the effect that his deputy William Ruto had planned to impeach him just before the 2018 handshake with ODM leader Raila Odinga. Susan said those were blatant lies that should not be entertained.
And for the first time since the March 9 2018 handshake political truce, ODM leader Raila Odinga seemed to disagree with President Kenyatta saying he has never heard of such a happening at the National Assembly of the Senate. If “Baba” did not hear of it, then it never happened!
Susan Kihika spoke on a TV interview and advised the president to stop “spinning one yarn” after another in a bid to block his deputy William Ruto from succeeding him. Susan is in the race to become governor of Nakuru County.
Speaking in vernacular when he addressed a group of traditional Kikuyu elders at Statehouse, Uhuru dwelt at length on alleged frustrations that DP had caused him and his government before going on to make the stunning accusations.
But Ruto swiftly told him off, wondering out loud how he would have worked for Uhuru’s re-election then turn around to impeach him.
Susan an ally of DP Ruto and a member of the UDA party challenged President Kenyatta to divulge more details on who was to broker the motion and on what grounds whether it was in parliament or senate.
