Monster sewer rats invade Nairobi CBD

By The Weekly Vision Team

Just when Nairobi residents were beginning to relax having battled a strange outbreak of bedbugs in the last few years, huge rats have been seen roaming the streets right in the city centre, in their wake are stray dogs that have never been injected for rabies or monitored by Nairobi City County.

No one knows who owns them, but they live in groups.

The rats are taking up from where the bed bugs and cockroaches left invading every nook and cranny in homes, offices and CBD hotels

The rats are taking up from where the bed bugs and cockroaches left invading every nook and cranny in homes, offices and CBD hotels. And to compounding the situation, cats no longer chase rats for a meal these days. The city rats seem to consume anything from paper to wood as food.

The rats pose a major health risk as they live in sewers and come out at night to invade kitchens in the restaurants spread across town for leftovers.
