Kibaki moments.

The late President will according to Kitale former Deputy Mayor Pius Mzee arap Kauka be remembered for fighting for the settlement of the landless when his rally in Sabwani Primary school in the now Endebes constituency was disrupted by gunshots.

Kibaki and his entourage which included former vice president, the late Kijana Wamalwa and former Kwanza legislator the late George Kapten Welime were forced to scamper for their lives with Kibaki losing his shoe. The shoe is reported to have been kept by Kauka who never returned the shoe after all.

Kibaki Commanded great honour and respect from his Narc team of the late Kijana Wamalwa and Narc founder Charity Kaluki Ngilu who shelved their Presidential ambitions in Kibaki’s favour. Their unity managed to end the 24 years of the reign of the Nyayo era.
