ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi’s lack of strong leadership skills clearly showed yesterday at the party’s National Delegates Congress (NDC), an event in which he was supposed to be the main man, was hijacked by Deputy President William Ruto. The DP stormed Bomas and left Musalia bewildered when the DP stated that they, UDA and ANC will start holding joint campaign rallies starting with Nakuru on Wednesday before they tour Bungoma on Friday and Central Kenya on Saturday.

The delegates were also treated to high drama when two of OKA principals walked out of congress with Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and the KANU’s chairman Gideon Moi saying that it was due to Musalia Mudavadi’s association with William Ruto and his party, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi walked out of the auditorium following the arrival of Deputy President William Ruto and MPs allied to his party. In a statement, the alliance stated that it had to part ways with Mudavadi ‘since some of his friends are not our friends and we are unsafe with them.”
