A family member who only introduced herself as Monique questioned the manner in which her family has been handled by the management of Kangundo Level Four Hospital
The body of a 90-year-old man has mysteriously gone missing from the Kangundo Level Four hospital mortuary this morning. The family of the late Joseph Mutisya Mbuvi was left speechless after discovering that they could not trace the body of their late kin at the mortuary.
They had gone to collect his body in preparation for the burial that was to take place tomorrow Friday; the arrangements are now in limbo unless the hospital produces the body of the late Mutisya!
The family was surprised that the body was nowhere to be found with hospital and mortuary attendants not saying much. The family has castigated the hospital for subjected family members to the rigours of going through cold storage cabinets in the mortuary, trying to trace the body of the 90-year-old man.
Hospital administrators have declined to talk to the media on the emotive issue, with murmurs going round to the effect that the body of the late Mutisya may have been collected by another family and buried in Nyeri County.
A family member who only introduced herself as Monique questioned the manner her family has been handled and the anguish they are currently going through, blaming the hospital management for not doing enough to help them trace the body of their loved one.
